LIQUIDAMBAR Trees
for well-drained, moist, acid soils. Not suitable for chalk soils. Best
in full sun for good autumn colour.

L. styraciflua Lobed, glossy, dark green leaves turn brilliant orange, red and purple in the autumn, deciduous. The bark on the shoots is ridged and corky. Height a large tree 6 to 8 metres often more. Spread 4 to 5 metres.
Liquidambar sty Golden TreasureL. styraciflua ‘Golden Treasure’ Green five pointed leaves, broadly margined bright yellow, deciduous. Height 3 to 5 metres. Spread 2 to 4 metres.
Liquidambar sty Silver KingL. styraciflua ‘Silver King’ (Was Liquidambar styraciflua ‘Variegata) Green five pointed leaves, margined creamy-white, flushed pink in the autumn, deciduous. Height 3 to 5 metres. Spread 2 to 4 metres.
