R. ‘Benenden’ AGM Large, rose-like pure white flowers are borne among lobed, deep green leaves in May and June, the stems have peeling bark, deciduous. Height 2 to 2.5 metres.  Spread 2 to 3 metres. D
R. ‘Betty Ashburner’  White flowers in July. Dark green, bristly leaves on long trailing stems, evergreen. Height 0.6 metres.  Spread an excellent groundcover plant between 2 and 3 metres. E
R. cockburnianus Star like flowers in June.  Mid green leaves, paler below made up of several leaflets, deciduous. The stems are bluish with a white bloom in the Winter.  Height 2 or 3 metres. Spread Suckers to 1.5 or 2 metres.  D

Vivid yellow, fern-like leaves, white below, the white thorny stems make an attractive show throughout the winter. Height and Spread about 2 metres.  D

R. odoratus Bowl shaped or flat, rose-purple, scented flowers from June to August. Edible fruits may follow. Bright green downy leaves, deciduous. Height 2 to 2.5 metres. Spread suckering to 2 metres.  D

R. phoenicolasius Small pale pink flowers followed by edible bright orange-red fruits. Bristly red stems hold, toothed green leaves, greyish below, deciduous. Height truly a shrub but does need some support, 2 to 3 metres. Due to this and the edible fruits please look in the climbers and/or soft fruit section.

R. spectabilis ‘Olympic Double’ Bright magenta-rose, double flowers in April and May. Bright green leaves made up of three leaflets, deciduous. Height 1.2 to 1.8 metres.  Spread suckering shrub about 1 metre.  D

R. thibetanus AGM (Silver Fern) Small, purple, flowers in June. Fern like silvery grey leaves made up of 7 to 13leaflets, deciduous. The young stems in winter have a blue-white bloom. Height 1.8  to 2 metres. Spread 1.2 to 1.5 metres. D
R. tricolor White flowers in July. Dark green, bristly leaves on long trailing stems, evergreen. Height 0.6 metres.  Spread an excellent groundcover plant between 2 and 3 metres. E
