EUONYMUS – Evergreen and deciduous shrubs, sometimes small trees. Sun or part shade. HARMFUL IF EATEN

E. alatus AGM Tiny flowers, followed by small reddish purple fruits, which open to reveal orange seeds. Green leaves turn a superb crimson in the autumn, deciduous. Height a slow growing shrub 1.5 to 3 metres. Spread 1.5 to 2.5 metres. D

Euonymus europaeus Red CascadeE. europaeus ‘Red Cascade’ AGM Inconspicuous, greenish flowers in May followed by rosy red capsules which split open to reveal orange fruits. Dark green leaves turn scarlet in the autumn.  Height and Spread 1.5 to 3 metres. Most soils including chalk. D
