SAXIFRAGA  Short growing perennial with attractive rosettes of leaves. Suitable for front of borders or rock gardens. Best in a cool, sheltered site in partial shade, unless otherwise stated.

 

Saxifraga ‘Black Ruby’ ( fortunei) Clouds of starry deep ruby red flowers in October and November. Fleshy, almost black leaves turn dark red by autumn. Height and Spread 30cm.

Saxifraga ‘Sugar Plum Fairy’ (fortunei) Clouds of starry pale sugary pink flowers in October and November. Fleshy, green leaves. Height and Spread 30cm.
Saxifraga x urbium AGM Masses of star-shaped pink flushed white flowers in May and June above rosettes of mid to dark green leaves, evergreen. Height 30cm. Spread 45cm.
Saxifraga ‘Wada’ (fortunei) Clouds of starry white flowers on mahogany stems in October and November. Fleshy, mahogany-red leaves. Height and Spread 30cm.
