CHAMAECYPARIS Requires full sun in a moist, well-drained soil.

C. lawsoniana ?Columnaris Glauca’ Narrow, upright conifer that forms a neat column of aromatic, blue-grey foliage. Height 2.5 metres. Spread about 1 metre.

C. lawsoniana ?Ellwoodii? AGM Grey-green sprays of juvenile foliage, tinged blue-grey in winter. Height slow growing to 2 metres. Often sold as  a dwarf, it isn?t so beware. Spread about 1 metre.

C. lawsoniana ?Ellwood?s Gold? Lime green juvenile foliage, yellow when young. Height slow growing to 1.2 metres. Spread 0.45 metres.

Chamaecyparis law Minima AureaC. lawsoniana ?Minima Aurea’ AGM Bright yellow foliage in sprays. Evergreen. Height slow growing, pyramidal shape, 0.4 to 0.6 metres in 10 years. Prefers a sheltered site.

C. lawsoniana ?Minima Glauca’ Sea-green foliage, often in vertical sprays. Evergreen. Height slow growing, pyramidal shape, 0.4 to 0.6 metres in 10 years. Spread 0.3 to 0.5 metres.

C. lawsoniana ?Pembury Blue’ AGM Magnificent, conical conifer with aromatic, bright blue-grey foliage held in pendulous sprays. Height 15 metre. Spread 8 metre.

C. obtusa ‘Fernspray Gold’ Fern like sprays of golden yellow foliage, evergreen. Height a small to medium sized shrub with an irregular habit, 1 to 2 metres. Spreead 0.5 to 1 metre.
