LABURNUM Generally small growing, deciduous, trees with clusters of drooping flowers often followed by seed pods. Well-drained soil in full sun. CAUTION seeds are poisonous if eaten.

L. alpinum ‘Pendulum’ Long, drooping clusters of fragrant yellow, pea-like flowers in early June. Green leaves made up of three leaflets, deciduous. Height a dome shaped, stiffly weeping tree, not a lot taller than its grafted height. Spread about 1 metre.

L. x watereri ‘Vossii’ Pendent chains of large yellow flowers are borne in June. Leaves made up of three mid green leaflets, deciduous. Height about 3 to 5 metres. Spread 3 to 4 metres.
