CARYOPTERIS – Deciduous shrubs requiring full sun and a well drained soil. Prune hard in March to maintain shape and encourage new flowering shoots. Height and Spread a small shrub 0.6 to 0.9 metres.   C. x clandonensis ‘Gold Giant’ Rich blue flowers from August to October. Aromatic irregularly toothed bright yellow leaves, brightest in the spring. Height and Spread a compact shrub 0.9 to 1.2 metres.
