ABELIOPHYLLUM  Deciduous  winter flowering shrub, sometimes known as the 'White Forsythia'. Best in a warm sunny site D A. distichum Fragrant, white, faintly tinged pink, flowers appear before the leaves in February. Mid green leaves, occasionally purple in autumn, deciduous.  Height about 1 metre. Spread 0.5 to 0.75 metres.
