R. alpinum Greenish yellow flowers in April, red berries may follow. Mid green leaves, deciduous. Height 1 to 2 metres. Spread about 1 m. D

R. x gordonianum Drooping racemes of bronze-red flowers, yellow within, April. Lobed mid green leaves, deciduous. Height 2 to 2.5 metres. Spread 1.2 to 1.8 metres. D

Ribes odoratumR. odoratum (Was known as Ribes aureum) Clove scented yellow flowers in April. Shiny green, lobed leaves, turn yellow in the autumn, deciduous. Height 2 to 2.5 metres. Spread 1.2 to 1.8 metres. D

Ribes sanguineum BrockelbankiiR. sanguineum ‘Brocklebankii’  Pendent clusters of pink flowers from March to May sometimes followed by white bloomed black fruits. Golden yellow leaves on pale stems, deciduous. Height and Spread 0.5 to 1 metre. Part shade. The leaves can be scorched in full sun. D

Ribes speciosumR. speciosum AGM    Slender, Fuchsia like, rich red flowers hang on the undersides of the branches. Shiny green leaves on bristly, reddish, stems, semi-evergreen. Height about 2 metres, more if against a wall. Spread 1.2 to 1.5 metres. Best in a sheltered site. May drop its leaves in hard weather. E
