Pieris - Best in light shade but will grow in full sun. Requires acid soil. E

Pieris Flaming SilverP. ‘Flaming Silver’ AGM   White, waxy flowers during April and May. Bright pink young leaves, creamy white then turning green with a striking silver margin, evergreen.  Height slowly to 1 to 1.5 metres. Spread about 1 metre.

Pieris  Forest FlameP. ‘Forest Flame’ AGM White, waxy flowers during April and May. Bright red young leaves pass through pink and creamy white to a glossy green, evergreen. Height us about 2.5 metres. Spread 2 to 2.5 metres. 

P. formosa var. forrestii ‘Wakehurst' AGM White waxy flowers in April and May. Vivid red young leaves turn to glossy green, evergreen. Height 2 to 3 metres. Spread 2 to 2.5 metres.
P. japonica 'Carnaval' White, waxy flowers during April and May. Bright red young leaves, creamy white then turning green with a striking silver margin, evergreen.  Height slowly to 1 to 1.5 metres. Spread about 1 metre.

P. japonica 'Katsura' White waxy flowers, April and May. |Darkest red glossy young growth gradually turning glossy green, evergreen. Height 1.5 to 2 metres. Spread 1 to 1.5 metres.

P.japonica ‘Little Heath' AGM Small variegated leaves, pinkish young growth, evergreen. Flowers only occasionally. Height and Spread a dwarf shrub 0.5 metres.

P. japonica ‘Valley Valentine’ AGM Drooping clusters of deep dusky red flowers hardly fading at all, April and May. Pinkish green young growth turning green later, evergreen.  Height slowly 1.5 to 2 metres. Spread 1 to 1.5 metres.
