LIGUSTRUM- Well drained soil in sun or part shade. HARMFUL IF EATEN

L. japonicum Large panicles of white flowers in August. Oval, glossy, dark green leaves. Height 2 to3 metres. Spread 1.5 to 2.5 metres.  E

L. japonicum ‘Rotundifolium’ Oval, glossy, black-green leaves, evergreen. Height slow growing compact form to about 1.5 metres. Spread 0.5 metres.  E

L. lucidum AGM Panicles of white flowers from August to October. Large glossy, dark green leaves, evergreen. Height large shrub to small tree 5 metres. Spread 2 to 3 metres. E

L. lucidum ‘Tricolor’  Panicles of white flowers from August to October. , evergreen. Height large shrub 3 metres. Spread 2 to 3 metres. E

Ligustrum sinense VariegatumL. sinense ‘Variegatum’  Large sprays of tubular, white flowers in July followed by small, purplish black fruits. Soft grey-green, white margined leaves, deciduous. We have found this to be an an unstable variety often reverting to green. Height and Spread 3 metres or more. D
