Daphne – Deciduous
and evergreen shrubs, often with scented flowers. They have a reputation for
being difficult to grow which does apply to some varieties. Thay may survive a few years and for no apparent reason give up and die. They grow well
in moist drained loam soils and dislike root disturbance. Caution toxic if
eaten. We sometimes have stocks other varieties so it is always worth asking. SH
