Corokia – Evergreen shrubs for sunny well drained soils. S

C. cotoneaster Yellow flowers in May, bright orange fruits may follow. Small dark green leaves, whitish below. Height a small shrub slowly reaching 1.8 metres. Spread about 1 metre.

C. x virgata Yellow flowers in May. Bright orange fruits. Green leaves, whitish below, purple in the Autumn. Medium shrub 1.5 to 3 metres. Sp 1 to 1.5 m. Well drained soil and a sheltered site.

C. x virgata ‘Bronze King’ Yellow flowers in May followed by orange fruits. Purplish leaves, reddish below, evergreen. Height a medium sized shrub, 1.5 to 2 metres. Spread 1 to 1.5 metres.
