A. japonica ‘Crotonifolia’ AGM Reddish-purple, male, flowers in March and April. NO BERRIES. Needed to pollinate female varieties. Dark shiny green leaves, heavily spotted and splashed yellow, evergreen. Height and spread 2 to 3 metres.

A. japonica ‘Picturata’ We have found this variety to be unstable with the variegation not lasting and eventually turning back to a spotted form therefore we have stopped growing it.

A. japonica ‘Rozannie’ AGM Reddish purple male and female flowers in March and April followed by red berries. Shiny green, leathery leaves. Height up to 1.5 metres. Spread about 1 metre.
