SAXIFRAGA A small perennial with attractive rosettes
of leaves. Suitable for rock gardens. Best in a cool, sheltered site in
partial shade, unless otherwise stated.

S. ‘Aureopunctata' (Was S. umbrosa ‘Variegata’) Masses of star-shaped pink flowers in May and June above rosettes of mid to dark green leaves which are splashed yellow, evergreen. Height 30cm. Spread 45cm. Moist soil in sun or part shade.

S. 'Black Ruby’ ( fortunei) Clouds of starry deep ruby red flowers in October and November. Fleshy, almost black leaves turn dark red by autumn. Height and Spread 30cm.
