ORIGANUM (Dittany) Grown for its aromatic leaves. Some species are used as culinary herbs. Requires full sun in a sheltered, well-drained, soil.

O. laevigatum ‘Herrenhausen’ AGM Violet flowers in August and September above small , aromatic, dark green leaves. Height and Spread 45cm.

O. laevigatum ‘Hopleys’ Pink to purple flowers August and September. Small, aromatic green leaves. Height 45cm. Spread 45cm.

O. ‘Rosenkuppel’ Perennial of the year 1998. Purple red flowers from July to September above small aromatic, dark green leaves. Height and Spread 45cm.

O. vulgare ‘Aureum’ AGM Bright golden yellow young leaves in Spring turning green in mid Summer. Can be used in cooking. Height 30cm. Spread 45cm. Light or medium soil.
O. vulgare ‘Country Cream’ Cream and green leaves throughout the season. Can be used in cooking. Height 30cm. Spread 45cm. Light or medium soil.
