OMPHALODES Good ground cover. Best in a moist soil in partial shade.

O. cappadocia 'Cherry Ingram' AGM Bears sprays of rich blue blooms in May and June, often longer. Dark green leaves, semi-evergreen. Height 25cm. Spread 30cm.

O. cappadocia ‘Starry Eyes’ Bears sprays of rich blue blooms, each flower is edged with the palest mauve, May and June, often longer. Dark green leaves, semi-evergreen. Height 25cm. Spread 30cm.

O. verna Bears sprays of pale blue blooms with white centres from March to May. Mid green oval leaves. Height 15cm. Spread 45cm.

O. verna ‘Alba’ Tiny white flowers, in clusters, from April to June. Oval mid green leaves. Height 15cm. Spread 45cm, good groundcover. Needs humus rich soil.
