EUPHORBIA (Milkweed, Spurge) Evergreen and deciduous with attractive flower bracts. Best in sun or partial shade and moist well-drained soil. Some may need a sheltered site. CAUTION SKIN AND EYE IRRITANT/TOXIC IF EATEN

E. amygdaloides ‘Purpurea’ (Was Euphorbia amygdaloides ‘Rubra’) Yellow green flowers from April to May. Purple mahogany leaves. Height 30cm. Spread 30cm.

E. amygdaloides var. robbiae AGM Lime green flower bracts in May and June. Dark green, shiny, leaves. Height 45-60cm. Spread 60cm.

E. characias Green flowers with brown centres, March to May. Grey green leaves. Evergreen. Height 90 to 120 cm. Spread 90cm. Protect from easterly winter winds.

E. nicaeensis Yellowish green flowers from July to October. Greyish green fleshy leaves. Height 60cm. Spread 45cm. Well-drained soil in full sun.
Euphorbia palustrisE. palustris AGM Sulphur yellow flowers (bracts) June to July. Yellowish green leaves. Height 90cm. Spread 90cm. Well-drained soil in full sun.

E. polychroma AGM (Was E. epithymoides) Heads of bright yellow flowers carried in April and May. Height and Spread 45cm. Requires full sun and a well-drained soil.

 

E. Redwing 'Charam' AGM Euphorbia Redwing

Red buds open to yellowish green flowers March to May .Dark green leaves, evergreen.  Height and Spread 50cm.

E. schillingii AGM Lime green flower heads from July to October. Long mid green leaves with a pale central rib. Height 90 to 120cm. Spread 30 to 60cm. Full sun in a well-drained soil.
