CARDIOCRINUM Well-drained, rich, moist soil in part shade.

C. giganteum Long, narrow, downward facing greenish-white flowers, with maroon red in the throat, June to August. Immense green leaves, diminishing in size the further up the stout flower stem they go. Height 180 to 300cm. Spread 90cm.
