TSUGA Requires moist well-drained soil.

T. heterophylla Arching branches with small, narrow, green leaves, marked with two white bands below. Evergreen. Height an elegant fast growing tree 10 metres often more. Spread 3 to 4 metres. Needs acid soil. Will grow in sun or shade.
