ABIES Requires full sun and moist soil. Does not like chalk soils.

A. koreana Dark green leaves silver below, young shoots pale brown or buff, winter buds small white and sticky with resin. Bright blue grey cones. Height slowly reaching 3 metres Spread 1.5 to 2 metres

A. koreana ‘Silberlocke' AGM Leaves curl upwards revealing the bright silver undersides. Evergreen. Height: a slow growing tree, 0.75 to 1 metre. Spread 0.75 metres.

A. nordmanniana AGM Densely arranged, rich, glossy green leaves which are a dull white onj the underside. Green brown cones. Height a very large tree up to 40 metres. Spread over 6 metres
