CLEMATIS Large range of spring, summer and autumn flowering climbers. Generally climb by twining leaf stems around its support. Best in a rich soil with its head in the sun and the roots kept cool and moist in shade. Different varieties have different pruning needs. We are a listed as a stockist of Raymond Evison Clematis which have been widely acclaimed at Chelsea. They are not all currently included in our main list but please do ask for any varieties you are looking for as we may be able to obtain them. Most have Evi as part of their registered name such as C. ANGELIQUE 'Evipo017'

C.'Aljonushka' (was known as C.’Aljonushka’) Rosy-violet, bell shaped with flowers with yellow stamens, July to September. Height 1 to 2 metres, an herbaceous clematis that needs support from a shrub or sticks.

C. REBECCA 'Evipo 016'   It has very large stunningly, bright red (almost scarlet) spring flowers, some (15 to 18 cm) in diameter; it is exceptionally free-flowering and Clematis Rebeccathe plant is covered with nicely shaped full flowers with overlapping sepals. It has a good repeat flowering habit. Its main flowering period is late spring-early summer and it flowers again late summer-early autumn. The late summer and early autumn flowers are smaller in size but are produced very freely giving a mass of flowers. The red colour of the flowers is very intense and the sepals are offset by creamy/yellow anthers.This clematis is ideal for growing through other wall trained tree or shrubs. Due to its deep colour, it contrasts well with grey foliage shrubs.
